Is your definition of self confidence one that tries to look good on the outside, meet external expectations and impress others?
Or is your definition of self confidence one that allows you to love who you are in this world? Not have to perform? But to show up as you are?
Is your definition helpful and healing to you? Or is it further denying your uniqueness and sacred human beauty (inside and out) and having you work harder and harder to try to meet external standards of what your self confidence should look like?
Nice site! With a topic that definitely hits home.
Consciously, I know confidence comes from self acceptance and not external forces such as the approval of others. However, in social situations I can't help but fall into that trap.

Great topic and great site. I joined your community at mybloglog. Self-approval must come from within as it is fleeting if it is externalized. I wrote an article recently called, 'Is it conceited to love yourself' which touches on this (I won't post a link incase you don't like that). Anyway, keep up the good work and stay confident!
