So in recent posts, I've been suggesting that changing what we believe is not about an intellectual exercise of changing our 'thinking.' That it's about going deeper into where beliefs really live in our body and our being. But I also need to add that mental, cognitive things can also get in the way.
For example, it helps if we have the language to describe what we want.
It helps if we know intellectually what we want.
It helps if we can articulate *why* we want what we want.
It helps if we know the actions we need to take to get what we want.
But just as I have been discussing over the past number of posts, just having the language alone, just having the intellectual knowledge may not be enough - if you do not also develop the belief deep in your brain and body through action and experience that you can be and deserve to be comfortable around other people.
